Josh Richardson
Josh started Velocity Athlete Development in 2016 after training his son, Kayden, and his teammates. He saw that offensive linemen weren't getting the development the position demands the traditional coaching model wasn't built for it and set out to build something better. He has driven the vision and direction of the company ever since. A multi-sport athlete growing up football, basketball, baseball, and track Josh earned state-level honors in high school and a full-ride scholarship to the University of Louisville. He played and started for the Cardinals from 1995 to 1998, blocking at center, guard, and tackle in an NCAA record-breaking offense in front of quarterback Chris Redman, and was part of one of the program's best single-season turnarounds: from 1–10 in 1997 to 7–4 and a Motor City Bowl berth in 1998.
Josh runs the offensive line program as Head OL Coach. Out of his room: 200+ high school athletes earning college scholarships, and Velocity linemen drafted in each of the last five years Zavala, Strange, Vinson, Glover, Cruz, and more.
Josh is married to his wife, Heather; they have two children, Kayden and Abigail, and live in Alpharetta, GA.
