Who We Are
Created for the athletes
Georgia is Building.
Josh Richardson started Velocity in 2016, training his son Kayden and Kayden's teammates in local parks. He knew linemen deserved more. Georgia linemen were being underserved, and the offensive line development that produced college offers and NFL careers was happening in other states. Josh set out to change that.
Velocity grew from those park workouts into a complete athlete-development facility in Canton: position-specific football, science-backed performance training, baseball and softball, recovery, and on-site physical therapy under one roof, the 360-degree approach an athlete actually needs.
The result is a single place that takes an 8-year-old's first reps and an NFL prospect's Pro Day equally seriously.
Ten years in, the record is on paper: the fastest offensive lineman at the 2026 NFL Combine, multiple guards in the all-time top 10 for athletic testing, the No. 1 all-time athletic-testing center, 200+ college placements, 45+ professional athletes, and four first-round NFL Draft picks, all developed in Canton, Georgia.
That record has made Velocity the most decorated development facility in North Georgia, with athletes from middle school to the NFL and a reputation that brings families here from around the country. It has also made Velocity a national voice on offensive line development, leading projects and consulting work across the country.

The 360
Everything else
under this roof.
Training is only part of it. The recovery, the film room, and the medical support are in the same building so an athlete never has to drive across town to finish the work.
