Why Recovery Matters
The work doesn't count
until you recover from it.
Adaptation happens between sessions, not during them. Skip recovery, and you leave progress and durability on the table.
Velocity built a full recovery suite into the facility so athletes can train hard and rebuild right without an extra stop across town. It's the difference between recovery you mean to do and recovery you actually do.
The Recovery Suite
Everything an athlete needs

Contrast — Hot & Cold
The contrast studio is
already in the building.
Standalone cold-plunge and sauna studios sell contrast as its own membership, its own drive, and its own schedule.
At Velocity, the cold tub and sauna sit steps off the training floor so the protocol happens the day the work does, not whenever the calendar allows.
Contrast is the simple one-two: heat to open circulation and get tissue moving, cold to manage inflammation, alternated in one guided rotation.
No second membership, no drive across town, no "I'll go tomorrow." The athletes who actually do contrast are the ones who don't have to leave the building to do it.

FAQ
What athletes and parents ask us about Recovery.
Recovery is built into the building, not bolted on somewhere else the suite sits steps from the floor your athlete trains on. What that looks like for your athlete depends on the plan we build together, and we walk through all of it at the free evaluation.
Most use it right after a session, while they're already here. That's the whole point of putting it in the same building the recovery that gets done is the recovery that doesn't require a second stop.
They're tools, not magic. Cold-water immersion helps manage inflammation between sessions and games; the sauna is heat therapy for circulation and relaxation and a staple in pro programs. They support sleep, food, and smart training they don't replace them.
That's a physical therapy conversation, not a recovery-suite one. Outlast Sports Rehab operates inside the facility and treats one-on-one see the Physical Therapy page for what they do.
Yes. We work with athletes here so the fueling side matches the training side. Bring it up at the free evaluation and we'll point you in the right direction.
Every athlete starts with a free evaluation. We'll show you where they are, recommend the right tier and schedule for their age and season, and walk you through everything there.
