Director of Sports Performance
Coach Chris James is coming to us all the way from Tyler, Texas where he was most recently a NFL Draft Prep Lead/Performance Coach at APEC. Previous to APEC he was helping develop quarterbacks with 423 Performance in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Before getting into the human performance realm, Chris was a Division 1 football player. Raised in North Georgia, He went to Valdosta State University (GA) out of high school to play Quarterback. After his freshman season he attended Hutchinson Community College (KS) for a short stint before earning a scholarship to The University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Chris had a position change from quarterback to tight end while he was with the Mocs in Chattanooga. After snagging 7 touchdowns in his first season at the new position, that cemented him as an All-Conference player in 2019 and a spot on the preseason All-American list going into his senior year. Coach Chris is not only versatile on the field, but also as a coach. Having coached a wide variety of athletes that includes: NFL/CFL athletes, Quarterback Specific Training, Tennis Specific Training, General Population Clients, Jump Sport Athletes, and even Special Needs Clients. Chris has accumulated the knowledge necessary from renowned coaches and training methods to help athletes reach their highest potential. He plans to use his knowledge and experience as an athlete to constantly pursue ways to maximize human/athletic performance.
